FAQs

Is our meeting virtual or in person?

I have roots in NYC and Los Angeles, California, but currently live in Cape Elizabeth, ME. We’ll use google meet or zoom to connect. In-person meetings are held here in Maine.

What does a nutritional physical exam entail?

I scan the body from the scalp down. I ask questions about skin, rashes, digestive discomfort and bowel movements. You needn’t disrobe but fitted clothing is helpful so that I can assess posture and range of movement.

Do you take insurance?

Many insurance companies do offer reimbursement for medical nutritional therapy. I can provide you with a superbill for services rendered that you may in turn submit to your insurance if they cover out-of-network care.

What if I want to meet with you after my package is up?

Follow up sessions can be booked for anyone who’s booked a package previously. You can alos book a lab report.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, this can be arranged.

Can I replace my PCP with a nutritionist?

No. A nutritionist cannot diagnose illnesses and cannot prescribe medicine. In some states, a nutritionist cannot order blood work. A clinical nutritionist with credentials (Registered Dietician, Clinical Nutrition Specialist) can work with your team of doctors in order to provide you with well rounded support.

Can a nutritionist help me lose weight?

Weight loss is rarely my goal. I believe in a healthy weight at every size. That said, when we focus on taking care of ourselves, eating consciously, our true forms come through. For many, this means weight loss.
